Matching Transformer and Common Mode Filter

Hi there, my friend and a member of our radio fraternity NSNorfolk was kind enough to offer to build and send me a matching transformer (450 to 50 Ohms) suitable for Beverage antennas in general - and to try on the 450 metre barbed wire fence I use. It actually arrived with a Common Mode Filter which acts to attenuate signals picked up from a coaxial feedline. Very kind of him indeed to do this and I'm very grateful. Here is an explanation as to how they work and how I'm planning to use them. DXpedition coming soon to test them out. Thanks for watching.
