Hi there, whilst in the classroom last year studying for my Ham radio license, one of the tutors (a licensed Ham of course) demonstrated digital signal decoding with a particular focus on the new FT8 standard. As he sat back in his chair with a cup of tea, his transceiver was making QSOs automatically, with other operators worldwide. I thought it was great lol so downloaded the software soon after - but couldn't make it work, so I dropped it for a while. I recently came back to it and resolved the issues, having noticed recently that others on YouTube have also been using this brilliant piece of software for RX. GridTracker is a great add-on in that it generates a graphical representation of the QSOs taking place using an interactive world map. As others have noted recently, this is an excellent tool for checking band conditions in real time. Thanks for watching.
