Eton Satellit: Boni whip versus a 50 metre longwire - AIR Jeypore 5040 kHz

Hi there, a very nice signal from AIR Jeypore, one of the regional AIR signals that can sometimes be heard quite well at my QTH. Once again, the 50 metre longwire produces a stronger, clearer signal than the whip, but clearly the whip does work and has shown its suitability in scenarios where protability/ space is an issue. Apparently a stereo jack plug is required to obtain the maximum signal from a grounded antenna cable. I will test that out soon. Recorded at the woods in Oxford UK on 22/01/17 at 17:28 hrs UTC.
