Hi there, here is a very weak signal from the Solomon Islands, one of the most difficult DX catches on SW and a PF for me. Although the signal is too weak to catch an ID, there can be no doubt of the origin of this signal and what a brilliant demonstration of how good the Eton actually is. Bearing in mind I've tried to catch SIBC many times, with the Elad and Sony ICF-2001D, this catch it says it all. I would suggest listening to this video with headphones to catch the audio in all it's glory lol, it really is weak. Recorded at the woods in Oxford UK on 22/01/17 at 19:21 hrs UTC using a 50 metre longwire. Thanks for watching.
