Radio Caroline testing on 648 kHz Orford Ness, copied in Oxford with a ...

Hi there, here's a big signal from Radio Caroline, Orford Ness, as they conduct test transmissions on 648 kHz. I recorded a couple more videos to check out how modest a receiver would be necessary to copy them. Obviously this is a high-performance SDR and H-field antenna....which isn't very portable lol. Those videos to come. Also note; Radio Caroline is 'all about the music' which is great, but it means it's almost unavoidable to record copyrighted music to avoid a video of about 10 seconds in length. This means the video might not play on mobile phones or gaming systems.

Recorded on 27/11/17 at
11:59 hrs UTC using a Perseus SDR and Wellbrook ALA1530 magnetic loop antenna (in the garden shed). Thanks for watching.
