Sangean ATS-909x versus Eton Satellit: XEPPM Radio Educación 6185 kHz, M...

Hi there, brilliant reception considering the low TX power of this signal from the other side of the Atlantic. I've heard them a few times previously, but usually only possible on a DXpedition, out of the 'electrosmog'! As usual, let me know your thoughts. So far, I think the Eton is slightly ahead of the Sangean, both in terms of sensitivity and selectivity. The latter perhaps not such a surprise, however, still fascinating to see and hear these two portables go up against each other. Many more videos on this to come.

Recorded in Oxford UK on 13/05/17 at 01:55 hrs UTC using a 50 metre longwire antenna. Ignore the clock time-difference, there was only a few seconds between recordings. Thanks for watching.
