Hi there, some more thoughts on the NooElec RTL-SDR dongle and SDR# software, running on a Dell Latitude E6330 laptop. Extrapolating my testing predicts a run time of around 3 hours, based on the dongle and the upconverter being powered by the laptop. More than good enough for my afternoon ad-hoc DXpeditions.
